Global Geology
Looking for an up-to-date map showing a region's major geographic and geologic features? You can find it at Cornell University's Geographic Information System Interactive Map Server. Users select an area anywhere in the world by clicking and dragging on a map, then choosing which features they want to see, from rivers, roads, and cities to topography, fault lines, and earthquake records. Requires an advanced Web browser and fast connection for speedy retrievals.
